Day 5 Outdoors was built on the water, back to the day it was created.
James Franklin has loved fishing since he was a kid. As a bachelor, he'd fish every Friday night after work until the sun came up. When he met his wife Mandi, he knew it was love, she started fishing just to spend time with him. Even with a broken boat motor, he'd grab the paddles just to get out there.
In 2016, James, Mandi, and their kids were getting ready for church, and the water was calling. James wasn't going to skip church to go fishing. He told Mandi, "Jesus first. Then we fish." Day 5 Outdoors was born in that sentence.
On the Fifth day, God filled the water with life (Genesis 1:20). Fishing wasn't an accident, it was designed, with a lesson built into it. That's where "Fishing Invented" comes from: God didn't just create fish. He created the lesson.
